The first of a series of innovative non-contacting ophthalmic and screening devices, the new pachymeter is expected to complete certification and testing towards the end of 2021 and be available for general sale in 2022.
Commenting on the new device, Occuity's CEO Dan Daly stated:
"initial responses from prospective customers for the new Pachymeter were highly encouraging with the device set to disrupt the current handheld Pachymeter market that is presently dominated by contacting ultrasound devices."
