Occuity unveil the latest designs for the desktop charging cradle and calibration artefact for the new Optical Non-Contacting Pachymeter that is planned to go on sale in 2022. Currently undergoing internal testing the device will enter clinical trials early next year and is expected to revolutionise central corneal thickness measurement for Opticians, Optometrists and Ophthalmologists around the world due to its entirely non-contacting technology, accuracy and repeatability of measurement. Aimed at Glaucoma and other eye disease diagnosis the Occuity Pachymeter is capable of measuring the thinnest of corneas to an accuracy of < 5 microns.
