Occuity is excited to announce that we will be attending MEDICA 2021, the world’s leading international trade show for the medical sector from the 15-18 of November in Düsseldorf. The past year has put a spotlight on the health care industry and emphasized the need for innovative solutions within the sector during this time, which is what makes this year’s tradeshow so exciting as there are dozens of new exhibitors and products.
MEDICA is an opportunity for us to showcase our non-invasive, handheld, optical technology and our first product, The Occuity PM1 - the world’s first non-contacting handheld optical pachymeter – to prospective buyers and distributors. We’re also looking forward to strengthening our relationships and building connections with other pioneering health technology companies and global partners. Those attending MEDICA will be able to see what makes the UK a global leader when it comes to digital health innovation. Occuity will have a stand at UK's most visible pavilion Hall 16, Block J42, which is hosted by the Association of British HealthTech Industry (ABHI), the UK’s leading industry association for health technology.
Paul Benton, Managing Director, International, ABHI, said:
The pandemic, coupled with huge global strain on supply chains, has thrown up a number of challenges, but the industry as a whole remains optimistic and looks forward to reuniting once more at MEDICA 2021.
At the exhibition, buyers will be able to see and enjoy demonstrations of the PM1, a device that will allow both clinicians and technicians to take corneal thickness measurements quicker, safer, and more easily. Furthermore, attendees will have the opportunity to meet and connect with our founders Dr. Dan Daly and Dr. Robin Taylor, and other members of the team who will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.
