Having retired just 18 months ago following a 27 year career at Apple HQ in Cupertino CA where he had been one of the lead designers of virtually all the iconic Apple products one is so familiar with today, Daniele De Iuliis - already an early stage investor in the company, has joined the management team to oversee the design of the revolutionary new devices that Occuity are bringing to market.
As one of the world's leading designers with more than 400 utility patents from his time at Apple, not only does Daniele significantly enhance the strength of the Occuity management team but he also brings a wealth of expertise of dealing with the challenges of production at scale. With his experience and contacts within some of the world's largest production organisations Occuity are delighted to welcome Daniele to Occuity and see his acceptance of the role as a key milestone in the company's journey to productise their world leading optical R&D within the medical and consumer marketplaces.
